Dallas To Branson MO

I will be traveling from Dallas to Branson MO in a couple of weeks.
I will be traveling on highways US 412 and 65 to Table Rock State park.
I have a 36 Ft Inspire pulling a 17 Ft toad.
Are there any highway issues, bad roads, that I should be concerned/aware of? Thank you for your responses!

Been Dallas to Branson many many times. Always go up 69 to I-40, East to 49, and then 412 East to Branson. 412 East of Springdale has been under construction for quite some time and last year when I drove it was almost finished all the way across. No problem at all with a 42' coach towing pick-up.

Have not been across 412 North of I-40 so can't vouch for that. HW 69 particularly rough along some stretches and especially from McAlester North.
Good stopping spot at the Choctaw Travel Plaza/Casino just North of Stringtown, OK on the West side of HW-69.. Plate lunches & Great burgers in the little café in the Casino, plenty of parking space in the adjacent truck parking lot, EZ in/out, average fuel prices.

RJ, we've lived in Branson 6 years and have driven from here to your area more than once. As to route, name your poison.

The short way is due east to Fayetteville and then northeast to the Branson area. However, the roads NE of Fayetteville are generally very narrow and curvy. We've done that way once in our 40 foot coach . . . avoid as much as we can.

The longer but more pleasant route is northeast to Muskogee using 75/69 then up to I-44. Take that east to Springfield, then drop down to the Branson Area on Hwy 65. Yes, longer but you'll likely get better MPG (less braking and stop-go).

If you decide on the Muskogee route, let me know and I can give you the particulars. We live 15 minutes from Table Rock State Park. A great campground, no doubt, though I think the COE Indian Point camp is better, and 5 minutes from Silver Dollar City.

Thanks for the travel information y'all provided for our upcoming trip to Branson. I don't think we will have any route issues.
