carefree mirage

My patio awning, a carefree mirage, works well except on retract it stops about 1 1/2 inches short of full closure. That is to say, the box sticks out a small amount but the canvas is fully wound up. If I adjust the retract stop it will close all the way but the power does not shut off. There doesn't seem to be an adjust spot which will give me full closure and properly turn off the power. Not too big a deal but it would be nice to see it fully closed for a flush fit. Ideas? Lyle Wetherholt
