Air Bag Blocks

When working under the coach, what do you use as a safety block if the air bag should fail?

Al, I have a low profile 20 ton bottle jack, bought at Harbor Freight. I can lift any wheel, or the whole front end if necessary......Skip 2002 Intrigue #11329

I purchased the 12 ton (for the pair) jack stands from Harbor Freight having learned long ago not to rely on hydraulic or air driven lifting devices for personal safety.

I built some 1-foot high wood ramps out of successively shorter 2x12 boards with an angle cut on the end (sort of like overgrown leveling blocks) that I drive the tires up onto which raises the whole coach a foot without having to worry about airbags or jacks or being off-level. Works great as long as the repairs don't require wheel removal.
