Ceiling Lights

I have a 2006 Intrigue. When you put the front slides in the ceiling lights go out (the 3 on each side). I suppose that they did this because of the heat generated by the lights being directly above the closed side might be a problem. My problem is that one side of lights aren't coming back on when you put the slide back out. The fuses to the lights are ok. If possible I would also like to by pass this so the lights stay on when the slides are retracted. I've converted to LED lights so heat is no longer a problem.

Dennis, if you have a wood panel on the rear side of the slide, pull it out and off (mine was held in place by Velcro). In mine there is a bayonet off/on switch which controls the lights as the slide goes in/out. Check for alignment, etc. and do your modifications there. Call me if you have a question (515 708-3391). By the way, Jack Conway, you could do this too to keep your LED lights on.

Thanks, Lee. After I posted I pulled slide in a little and then back out and the lights came on. It looks like it should be easy to bypass it so the lights are always on. May do that later if the lights continue to give problems.

Thanks again.
