LED light conversion

So, we've just finished doing a complete conversion of our halogens to LEDs. For the most part, fairly painless, with the exception of two of our sconce lights. The light that is in the sconce is a 1157 halogen and we purchased the LED equivalent and for some reason, we can't get them to work. We have tried the bulbs in other fixtures, so we know the bulbs work and we have checked the polarity, and that is fine. Any thoughts? What have we missed?

I believe the sconce lights are on a dimmer most LEDs don't work with dimmers Bob 06 intrigue 12047

We also did the LED conversion and all 5 of our sconces will dim as well as the other lights.

Is there a possibility that the + contact is just not making it far enough into the socket?

Photos of that bulb shows 2 contacts, If that is the case maybe only one circuit in use for the bulb. Is it possible that the wrong contact in the sconce socket is powered.

Try reversing the bulb/contacts in the socket. With LED's I believe there is a diode that is for the positive side.

Although you said the polarity is correct, it sounds like it is reversed for the LED.
Halogen and incandescent bulbs will light in either direction.
LED's (light emitting diodes) only allow power to travel in one direction.
The 1157 bulb can only be installed in one position because of the offset lugs.
Try and remove the sconces and reverse the wires.
