A couple of leaks

I have a 2002 Intrigue, and water seems to continue to get into the side refrigerator vent and then leaks into the bay below. It's not a lot but bothersome. The previous owner had an ice maker line leak that rotted a lot of the wood near the side wall, so the outside of the vent (outside of the piece you can remove) was loose. I placed clear silicone all around the frame of the exterior piece which has helped a bit, but when it rains, I still have a water issue unless I have the awning out. Any suggestions?
Issue #2: I have a Bemis foot flush. I have a small drip from the nut directly below the water line connection after I flush. Is this a Teflon tape fix, or new part issue. Looking for advice before I tear it apart.
