TPMS

My first post on this board. We are getting ready for our shakedown cruise to Colorado. We have Smartire TPMS not functioning 100% does anyone know if the batteries in the sensors are replaceable or do I need to junk the system and start from scratch.

The batteries aren't replaceable. New sensors (with batteries) are available from Les Schwab for about $80 a piece. They need to be installed inside the tire. They are strapped on the inside of the rim. They work fine but are best replaced when changing tires. If you do this the module needs to be sent for them to program.

Thanks for the quick response. My tires have a lot of miles left on them, so I guess I will just check pressure manually for now.
