battery maintenance

I am working on my house batteries on my 2006 Allure 430. I have 4 deep-cycle batteries - three that are parallel to the bay opening and one that is turned 90 degrees to the bay opening. That means that the caps for the back cells on that particular battery are wa-a-a-ay in the back. I do not see any sliding mechanism to roll the batteries out. Thoughts, suggestions about how I can access the back cells of this battery? Thanks for your help.

Buy a small plastic battery distilled water dispenser with the spring loaded off/on head. Take the head off. Screw it on a smaller plastic pill bottle with treads that match the off/on head. Cut off the pill bottle base. Invert  . . . It's a small funnel with an off/on head that works to fill batteries. Been using mine for 10 years.

I had the same problem trying to maintain my batteries - very hard to get at the cells in the rear of the trays. I have a single point watering system on my golf cart, so I knew how they worked, but it took a lot of internet searching, emails, and phone calls to finally hook up with Tom Thompson at RV Power Supply: http://www.rvpowersupply.com/ They were the only ones that had the correct valves for my batteries, which had threaded cell caps. Tom and his help (I think it was the Mrs.) were VERY helpful and responsive. I can't recommend them highly enough - and - they are Country Coach owners as well!! Try their website or give them a call (888-447-4552) and they will talk you through exactly what you need and priority mail you the parts to install. I am not real handy, but I did the installation on my own, following the instructions they sent me, and it works like a charm.
