Rear wheel stud for a 1998 Intrigue

Has anyone had any experience with replacing a rear wheel lug/stud on a 1998 (give or take a few years) vintage Country Coach?  It is a style for the dual wheels where there is a stud that comes out of the hub, then the inner wheel goes on, then another "stud-on-a-stud" screws on to the hub stud, then the outer wheel goes on, then the lug nut & chrome cap.

Here's the situation:

I had new tires installed at the Michelin dealer a couple months ago, and when they pulled the wheels they found that a rear wheel stud was missing. Whoever last installed these wheels on my coach just screwed together the outer stud & lug nut on the outer wheel after breaking or otherwise removing the hub's wheel stud.  The tire shop says this is commonly what they do to "dummy it up" for the DOT so it looks like there is a lug there until the truck can get to a shop to fix it.
To thicken the plot, I know the previous (original) owner of my coach, and the wheels had not been off since 2002 when the Toyo tire recall was done on it at a Country Coach rally event.  So it has been driving around like this for 13 years.

I brought it to the Cummins chassis shop, and they got the old broken stud fragment out of the brake drum where it had been rattling around for 100,000+ miles (miraculously not damaging anything).  They have been looking for 3 days, sending their parts runner to suppliers and other shops around the St Paul Minneapolis area, and even called Country Coach to try to find the right wheel stud, all to no avail.  Apparently the axle and/or hub is something that CC had made specifically for them.  CC's (predictably worthless) response was "we don't have records going back that far..."  I do have a call in to Kevin Waite to see what info or parts sources he might have.
Meanwhile my coach is sitting at the shop with the wheels off waiting for a stupid lug nut stud.

I suppose if nothing else I can have them put it back together with 7 lugs and get back on the road; it has done fine that way for over a decade already.  But I would really like to find the correct part and fix it right. Any suggestions or part numbers, sources, etc. would be appreciated.

I have a hard time believing its anything other than a common stud pilot stud, thimble, and nut commonly used on large trucks  of that era go to a freightliner, peterbuilt, international truck center and they should be able to help you. Alan 99 intrigue

That is my thought too, I can't imagine that being a piece  that was specially made. They were used through out the 60's and 70's as I  changed a boatload of tires on trucks back then that used  them.

Thanks everyone.

I'm sure it is something that is used on other brands/rigs, but it has been kind of a needle in a haystack search without anything to go on.  I was hoping that someone in the group might have replaced one of these and would have the part number or specifications.  I'm sure once we determine the size/diameter/length/thread pitch, etc. specs I will be able to find one online or somewhere.
Kevin W also does not have any parts records for 1998, so if the trial & error search at local places doesn't come up with anything in the next day or two I will have to put it back together as-is and try again in the off season.

From the model of the axle a parts house should be able to identify it and order it.

Determine what brand of rear end assembly is in the coach. This will narrow  down the choices. You mayt even be able to call the manufacturer of the rear end  for a part number.
