Tag final report-long

Here is the conclusion to the tag "bucking bronco" ride.  When we left Monument Valley we thought all was ok.  Not so.  The first big bump we hit we were riding the bronco again.  Many miles later, with several stops to examine things, we arrived in Farmington, NM.  New problem--the slides would not go out.  The tag was still not down all the way.  Ponder, ponder, check and recheck.  Finally I checked the red circuit breakers in the PS back bay.  All looked good but I pushed and held in the 200 amp buttton for the slides.  There was no "click" and no resistance to my finger push.  But, on checking the slides they extended just fine.  The tag was a separate issue.  Several attempts to lower and raise were fruitless as it was on our several stops to check things.  Called HWH.  They returned my call within 20 minutes.  After finding and opening the HWH control box (that was a bitch) Randy at HWH walked me through a myriad of voltage and wire connection checks.  No banana! Randy spent nearly an hour with me.  Finally we did a final systems check and everything worked as advertised. Cause unknown.  The trip from Farmington to Albuquerque was uneventful and everything worked as always.
Conclusions:  We we took the hard hit in a construction zone, and it was hard, there must have been a mechanical opening of the 200 amp circuit breaker.  No other explanation.  The tag issue is still a quandry but clearly associated with the hard bump.
A side note:  It became obvious later in our checks of the slides that a loss of the OAT/compass gauge in the center of the dash that occurred a couple of times along the way was associated with the 200amp circuit breaker in the back.  Once the slides worked so did the temp/compass gauge.  Go figure.

My intermittant for the past 12 years has been if I run across a small but severe dip or bump the cruise control will drop out for a few seconds and then bring the coach back to speed.    It happens once or twice a trip over four to six months, just often enough to make you scratch your head.

Hi,

We have had that same thing a time or two in our travels here in the Canadian Maritimes.  What is more interesting is an issue I fully described in message #97818 nearly a year ago.  That still happens occasionally.  Other than that, everything is OK.  Don
