Front wheel bearigs

I have severe cupping on my front tires, I have rotated them but may need new wheel bearings, does anyone know what kind of bearings are on a 2004 Inspire, the manual gives very little information, has anyone had them replaced ?? any information would be helpful.

Hi Dan,

Have you checked your alignment and shocks? Chances are that is where your problem lies. It's also possible that you have some worn pieces like ball joints that can cause the same problems. Wheel bearings are fairly bullet proof as long as they have oil.

we had cupping on our right front tires when we had Toyos.  We found that the right toe-in needed correcting. We have also found that we need it reset every year.  Once we changed to B F Goodrich tires, and keep the toe-in correct, no more cupping. We just changed to Michelins so we'll see how they do.

If the toe in needs to be set every year something is wrong. It should not  need to be reset that often.
