I put some Power Service diesel additives in my tank (Biocide, Clear Diesel Tank Cleaner, and Kleen Diesel) and the gauge seems to work much better, I can believe it now. A good auto parts store or truck stop will generally carry Power Service products. Easier than turning wrenches... I think it does a good job of cleaning up the entire fuel system.

My fuel gauge has been acting up. When tank is full gauge reads full. Seems like I could drive for ever. Then gauge drops to below half. I have gotten used to getting a fill up every 300 miles since I do not know what the gauge is up. I can't imagine dropping the tank replace the float. Could it be the gauge its self? Is there a way of telling?
