Leakage around slideouts

We put out our living room slide last night and the carpet was wet. Also, the couch looks like it has a stain.

The problem with the drains - does this happen when the slide is in or out? If it happens when the slide is out, what might cause a wet carpet when the slide is in? We don't see any obvious water damage in the ceiling.

Our coach has been sitting here in Washington state all winter - no cover on it. Snow on it for a couple of months.

We have an 04 Allure as well and experienced the same wet carpets around the bedroom slide. No luck in finding the leak so I'm interested to see what comes of this thread.

we also had a slide leak in the bedroom, both sides at the sides underneath the night stands. It is a very poor design. It seems the carpet pieces for looks contributes to the problem and acts as a wick. We are considering replacing the carpet pieces there with wood. We have also found that keeping the coach level helps. Don't know why. It's very frustrating.

Here's something I found on an old post about Allure slide issues:

"Don, we also have a 2004 Allure triple slide. We had a leak in the Bedroom slide similar to the one you describe. I fixed our leak in the following manner. Examine the silicone sealant on the trim on the lower corner of the slide. It may appear to be OK, but if you take a putty knife and try to slide it between the trim and the sidewall you will probably discover some gaps. Water was coming down the side wall, entering the trim and seeping into the coach. Apply a small bead of clear silicone sealant to the gaps and use your finger moistened with water to push the sealant into the gap and smooth it out. Do this on the top as well as the underside of the trim piece.
You may also want to examine the trim on the other slide for the same problem and perform the same fix. Good luck. Terry"

Better check your slide roof sealant (Sika-Flex) almost every CC had issuse with the roof not being prepaired properly prior to the sealant around the edges of the roof. to check this, try to lift the caulking and see if it lifts up. I had to remove my entire slide and replace the ceiling, upholstery and Re-seal all my slide roofs. A must on all CC is to maintain this as replacing walls ceilings and all is incredible and expensive!! Check with Oregon Coach, they always have coaches there with the issues. CC just didn't take the time to sand and prepare the edges prior to applying the Sika-Flex!

There's a trough that collects rain water on our LR and BR slides. Mine got clogged up with debri. I applied pressurized air to the drain hoses to clear the debri. The drain hoses are located behind the driver's front and back tires. Air pressure eliminated the problem. No, I don't know where the debri went to and did not see any debri extinguished inside the coach. This worked for me. Good luck.

I had a similar issue 3 years ago, but fortunately, have wood flooring in the bedroom. So there was no issue of a wet carpet. There was no obvious source of leak, but the room seals were about 9 + years old and were stiffer than what I felt they should be. I had the seals replaced by Holland Motor Homes, Holland, MI. They used to be a Country Coach dealer and some of their tech's are quite familiar with the coach. They also had the correct seals in stock. This solved the problem and there has been no further issues with leaks. Note that I live in Maryland but had used Holland Motor Homes 4 years ago for an HWH hydraulic synchronization issue on the slide out control for the main cabin. They do good work.
