Merry Christmas and a couple of concerns

Yahoo Message Number: 104204
First off hope everyone had a great holiday season, and are hanging out someplace warm and cozy.
Our 01 magna keeps getting a e-02 code on the heart interface link 2000 that is a error code for charger overheating. It only does this when the generator is running, but of course when we where at country coach last week it wouldn't duplicate. It usually does it about every two to three minutes flashes e02 for a minute then goes back to normal. Any suggestions? The charger isn't physically warm to the touch so I don't think it's really a overheat issue maybe just a bad temp sensor somewhere?

Also yesterday after we parked the exhaust tune under the bay with the hurricane heater in it started puking a small amount of coolant after the engine shuts off. Is this where the overflow from the engine is routed? Also found a small bit of coolant in the bay with the hurricane but didn't see anyplace it could be leaking from. We just had it serviced so maybe it's over full?

Thanks for any opinions they are greatly appreciated

Your heart has had a long and happy life. It's probably time for a new inverter. There should be no coolant coming out. You have to look in there and find where it's leaking.

Not familiar with the Hart, so can't help. But did replace our inverter/charge with the MS2812 PSW, and all of the related AGS generator start, and BMK Meter, etc. - very pleased with this system. The charger portion is able to support the newer batteries of the day, and can also be custom programmed, if you ever want to go play with Lithium down the road too...

In your Hydro Hot bay, yep, look for leaks. Is the expansion bottle full or over flowing? Is the cap on it? Check the panel to see if any codes are indicated when you fire it up. When you do fire it up, and then turn on the furnace function, look for leaks at that time too. If yours is the same as ours in our 2004 CC, the engine loop flows thru to provide heat exchange. So you could have coolant leak from that source too.

And of course, call the place that did the service, and ask them to help you trouble shoot it over the phone, if needed...

Best of luck to you,

Smitty,

We also upgraded to the Magnum 2812 some time ago. Really like it's dependability and functionality. We also installed the interior temp AGS since we leave our pet inside for hours while we are out playing.
