Affinity engine access

Folks, I have been adding carpet to an 08 Affinity. The engine access cover was a puzzle as this coach has a wooden box over the metal access cover. Upon further investigation and a few calls, I discovered that the box has Velcro on the metal access and the inside of the box. One tech said the carpet needed to be cut to remove the box. Wrong- all you need to do is pry the box up to break the bond of the Velcro. This is an FYI, in case you need to gain access to the engine. Ernie Ekberg
