Diesel furnace..

I have a 2005 37 sunset bay Allure 470. Deisel master switch is on (lights), hot water switch on (lights). Diesel furnace switch No Light??? Will not fire...new filter, cleaned nozzle and electrodes. Got hot water in coach at sinks Any ideas??

I had switches with incandescent pilot lights built in and they will fail after a time. I had the small switch panel replaced with switches with LED's as pilot lights at an FMCA international rally by CC techs. . TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731.

I just went through this agony of the evil diesel furnace switch. there is no "FURNACE" mode. your thermostat for heat and air should have settings for either electric heat or GAS heat. Set the ZONES for gas heat then the temp you want . Gas heat actually means furnace

Trying to be sure I read you right. You have both the Diesel and the Electric Hydro/Aqua Hot switches set on. -You have hot water at the sinks and I assume shower(?).
-You're not hearing the diesel fire off at the Hyrdo/Aqua Hot(?). (Which if the electric has it to temp, is oK.) -You're not getting heat out of the floor registers? -Assume the Thermoset is set to Heat, vs Heat Pump?

Now, to be clear, I have an older 04 model, with a Hydro Hot. So our heating systems for sure can be different. We have dual zone 5 button thermostat.

-With the Electric on, and the Hyrdro Hot tank to temp. Our floor registers will engage until the tank temp goes too low. Then wills stop and wait until the Electric brings the tank temp back to temperature.
-If I have the Diesel switch on. It will kick in, once the tank temp gets too low.

In addition to checking the Hydro/Aqua Hot Control Boards for error lights, and trying the 'reset'. Also look for fuses out that feed your heat register fans. And, if you google, you will find a away to reset the Thermostat too, by pushing a combination of buttons.

Different years do have different models of heating, so my comments mean nothing to your application:)! (See how that helps you so much!).

thanks Smitty. But our unit is heat only, with engine heat while traveling. Talk to teck and they said the rubber hose is letting air in, big proublem with a 15 year coach. When it warms up i will run new lines to hurrican heater and engine. Thanks charles5886

Yep, as I said - different years can have different systems:)! So ignore my post, and appreciated you updating that yours is for sure different.

Kind of curious if the engine loop hose is silicone or not? In our era, with an engine loop too, the hoses are silicone. According to the tech that helped us, it is the reason we need to top off our expansion tank from time to time.

My unit is a 525-D and if your registers down get warm the check valves coming from the tank could be stuck. Feel the hoses coming out of the tank and if they are cold the valve may be stuck. Take a small hammer and rap it on the valves to loosen them up. Don't know if this would solve your problem but it does mine.
