Heater Coil Leaking

Greetings CC Group Members,

The front-end mounted heater core in my 32' CC is leaking again. R-Mechanic (Livermore, CA) replaced the heater core three years ago but again it has failed, causing lots of coolant to leak-out. I made a get-me-home repair by discounting the coolest hose (two) from the heater box and clamping them together, making a loop.

R-Mechanic is out of business (closed down). Can anyone recommend or know of a shop that can repair the heater core in the NOR CAL (or greater SF/BAY area) or the SLC, UT area.

Thank you,

Randy Parent

Freightliner in west sacramento has a RV diversion, Harry Lockwood is now running it. He was a CC factory trouble shooter for many years. There right off I-80 on the south side of the road. They have a flat spot with water/power, let us stay 3 nights in parking lot while our tag axel problem was fixed. They are a factory sales/service for over road trucks.....

I bought mine from CC. May still have them. Check with Kevin, he's been good at finding parts. May be able to find the OEM. Actually CC did that for me on other parts.
