Wabasto supply line

Yahoo Message Number: 104546
Hello, my name is Steve Wilcomb and I am a new owner of a 2000, 36', Magna GSSG Galley Sensation and could not be happier. In going through the coach for the last two weeks I have only found one item that has me baffled. The Wabasto supply line seems to be leaking at or near the main diesel tank. I can see the fuel on top of the tank. Now...... has anybody replaced that hose? My initial take is that it won't be easy! Is it possible to pull another line through the sleeve that has the existing line in it? Will I have to drop the tank? Any insight will be helpful.

I have been watching this group for several months and it helped a great deal prior to finding the coach we wanted.

Thanks to all of you in advance, I'm looking forward to following all of you.

I replaced the Hurricane and generator fuel lines on my 03 Allure that were cracked and brittle where they were exposed to the elements at the fuel tank. I cut and access panel/hole on the forward wall of the FWD bay, right behind the fuel tank. I am told that some coaches had this access panel from the factory. You can barely reach the front tank fittings with long arms, but the aft fittings are easy. I also bought a three foot long screw driver and needle nose at yard sale, which helped a little, but could have done the job without them. Also Hurricane runs smooth as silk for two years now, and probably dodged a bullet on generator. Larry, 03 Allure, 30856

we had to have our generator fuel lines replaced due to the same problem. Cummins in Montgomery AL replaced them for reasonable price. The young and skinny tech crawled in and around and was amazing. No way could Lonny have done that himself.
