No Generator Output

Power Tech 7 KW Generator is not putting out 220 vac across the breaker (Line to Line), only putting out 110 vac to ground.
Readings are as follows:

Exciter Stator 83.5 ohms (good)
Aux Winding 2.5 ohms (good)

Main Stator .2 ohms (should read .5 ohms) Note: Reading vary with ambient temperature.
I'm not sure how to test the Voltage Regulator P/N 06REG24.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

This is normal. The two 120 volt windings (poles) of the generator are tied together at the generator side of the circuit breakers. This is done so that the full generator power is available for all the loads, but no more than 30 Amps per leg. The coach uses 240 volts only when connected to shore power.

I don't have 115 vac to the coach when the generator is running. Only have 115 vac on shore power ðŸ¤". Your thoughts?

Transfer switch not working or the easiest fix circuit breakers tripped on generator.
If switch suspected you might give rap on the outside which if relay is stuck may free it.

Transfer switch, very likely. Generator power transfers to the coach after a 20 second delay. There is a circuit board in the transfer switch which generates this delay and is a known point of failure. Look in the photo section of this group under my handle and you will find details of this and how to fix it.

If the transfer switch is not working and you have the Todd Engineering transfer switch, there is a post on this forum on repairing the timing board in the transfer switch. You need to be able to un-solder a capacitor and replace it with a new one. When I fixed mine the cost of the capacitor was slightly less than $2 and took about 30 minutes..

Do you have 120 from L1 and L2 to neutral? Or just on one leg?

Most 7kw generators do not have 240vac across L1 and L2. They have 2 120 legs in phase.

It appears you do not have a 240 vac generator, but you have a 2 legs of 120 in phase with each other.

So either leg to neutral will read 120 but L1 to L2 will read 0 as they are in phase.

One to keep in mind we use 120 in our coaches so if neutral to L1 or L2 produces 0 volts but grd to L1 or L2 produces 120 volts you have an open neutral, not a good thing.

The problem has been located in the Transfer Switch. A burnt IC Chip (U1) on the circuit board.
120vac in 0vdc out
