Service suggestions in Charleston, SC

Yahoo Message Number: 104648
Hi all...we plan to be near Charleston, SC tomorrow and we have several maintenance issues we need to get taken care of. Can any of you recommend a repair facility in that area?

For those interested, issues are:
Chassis battery replacement
Fridge won't operate on gas
Speedometer quit working

Rear ride height valve replacement (I have the parts) Dash AC (leak at junction in front of coach) Leaking synch cylinder for slides

Oil dipstick tube needs to be replaced

Thanks for any suggestions! We are full time, so would prefer to be able to be at a facility that allows us to stay in the Coach.

There is a Cummins Coach Care facility in Loris, SC and one in Columbia SC. The one in Columbia SC has hookups. Not sure about the one in Loris.

2 hours north in Lexington SC is Tony's RV Parts and Service Inc. They are a HWH master service facility if 1st Choice can't fix the ride height valve and slide out issues. We have had work done at Tony's and were very impressed. They do have a hookup in their front parking lot and you can stay the night there.

I live 75 miles from Tony's RV in Lexington. I have used them for years. They are the best service center in South Carolina. They have well trained people that know RV's inside out. I just had them install a braking system on my new car and they did an excellent job. I've used them for refrigerator work, A/C work, etc. And they honor the Good Sam Extended Service Plan.

Thanks John. Will call them tomorrow. When I was at Shaw AFB last year it was a long wait to get in. Hopefully not so long this time. Kevin...you are the best, and wish I was near you for all of this.

Thanks to those of you that recommended Tony's RV in Lexington, SC for service. They have done an admirable job to say the least, and are the most accommodating folks! Ended up that a lot of my electrical issues were due to my inverter, which was spiking my systems from time to time with over 27VAC...fridge survived it with a few parts, and many of my other electrical problems have disappeared.

I will definitely come here again if anywhere on the east coast and need service, major or minor.
