interior lights auto on

When I open the door to my coach, the interior ceiling lights are on in the galley and bedroom. I sure hope they turn off when i shut the door and walk away... Is there a way to turn this feature off? How does one control the delay for auto shutoff?

Wow I sure hope so!!! It is in storage now, I was planning to double check that tomorrow. I did check the House batteries with a voltmeter, they were good and strong at about 14V. What happens is: I open door, tell my wife she left all the lights on, turn them all off, lock door and leave. When I open door the next day they are on. So I just assumed they were going on when I opened the door, like courtesy lights... And I assume they go off after a minute or so...

When you leave turn off the house switch at the door and chassis battery switched, probably in the curb side rear bay. That should shutoff just about everything; in my case I'm good for 3-4 weeks.
Reverse the process when you return.

Do they go out when you go in and shut the door? If they do, they are going out when you leave the coach! Like Lee said how ever, if your the coach is going to be unused for several days, I turn of the house switch and the engine master switch. That way you know nothing is left on!

This problem is caused by low voltage to the Multi-plex lighting control module, assuming you are so equipped with multi-plex Lighhting.

Yes I will thanks. And I remember your tip about doing the chassis batteries last after the step is retracted!

Interesting on the Multiplex lighting... I see CC puts the modules in various locations around the coach . different depending on the model. Anyone know where the ceiling light (dimmable) module is located for the Magna? The house batteries voltage is good, 14V, so I don't think it would be low voltage to the module. Could the Multiplex modules be tweaked by me turning the house battery disconnect switch on/off, testing things, which triggered the module somehow to turn the lights on? They have come on twice now for no reason.
