HWH System Hydro on Slide / Cant get Valve on either front slides to

Yahoo Message Number: 105603
Hi All,

I have a 2003 Country Coach Allure 3 slide tag. The 3 slides are Hydro, with the HWH hydro system.
I decided it is time to pull out that old carpet and put Laminate floor in. I took out the captain and Co-Captain seats. My son spent a lot of time getting the glue under the steering wheel out, and pull out all the electric in side kick panel next to the captain chair to get carpet out.
I started laying the floor, and I wanted to see, and make sure the slide cleared the floors .. When I try to slide the slides in, I can hear the pump, but they don't move. Neither of the front slides.. But the back bedroom works perfect. I went into the bay and can jump the solenoid and each slide work when I jump the solenoid.
I checked all the fuses in the hwh box. All look good.
Called HWH, they have a 3 day back log on call back.. They informed me I am on the list...

Hi Bob,

I'm in the three day hold too. Though my problem is the rear slide does not consistently go out. And the front slide will start to come in just enough to get up over the raising the floor phase, then stop. I have to push the button to have it extend and then stop real quick, and then i can complete the bringing in of the slide. On the rear, sometimes it works great going out, but other times I have to start to extend the front slide, before the rear will engage. (Not at the same time, I'll start to extend the big slide, then stop, do the rear extension, then complete there from extension.

And of course, always intermittent, but becoming more frequent. I do have an 04 40' Allure with two passenger sides slides.

Reading other posts, it seems that some have had similar or problems as I have, and that it was the start of a extend/retreat switch. So I'm going to talk it thru when HWH calls me back, and if the feel that is a possibility, order in both switches and swap them out.

I'll update back once I get their input. And will follow the thread to see what others might say to you, as well as HWH.

Good luck on the new flooring!

As a side note, one other thing my wife and I have noted is that the rear roller of the large slide, is not leaving a pretty good indentation in our carpet. Did not used to. The slide looks to be aligned as it always has been when closed. I did have the slides looked over, and lubricated, at the last service. Perhaps they adjusted something(?). I'm also going to ask HWH their thoughts on that too. (Others I believe are putting a floor runner down to protect the carpet on the way in. May end up doing that if they say this is the new 'norm' for our coach.)

Best,

Smitty

Hey Smitty,

The floor is coming out great.. Real great.. A little learning curve but very happy.
I think my problem is in the switch from Galley to living room slide. It always worked great before I pulled the carpet.. Just not getting positive DC current in the solenoid.. Ill be posting pictures..
