Hi Bob,
I'm in the three day hold too. Though my problem is the rear slide does not consistently go out. And the front slide will start to come in just enough to get up over the raising the floor phase, then stop. I have to push the button to have it extend and then stop real quick, and then i can complete the bringing in of the slide. On the rear, sometimes it works great going out, but other times I have to start to extend the front slide, before the rear will engage. (Not at the same time, I'll start to extend the big slide, then stop, do the rear extension, then complete there from extension.
And of course, always intermittent, but becoming more frequent. I do have an 04 40' Allure with two passenger sides slides.
Reading other posts, it seems that some have had similar or problems as I have, and that it was the start of a extend/retreat switch. So I'm going to talk it thru when HWH calls me back, and if the feel that is a possibility, order in both switches and swap them out.
I'll update back once I get their input. And will follow the thread to see what others might say to you, as well as HWH.
Good luck on the new flooring!
As a side note, one other thing my wife and I have noted is that the rear roller of the large slide, is not leaving a pretty good indentation in our carpet. Did not used to. The slide looks to be aligned as it always has been when closed. I did have the slides looked over, and lubricated, at the last service. Perhaps they adjusted something(?). I'm also going to ask HWH their thoughts on that too. (Others I believe are putting a floor runner down to protect the carpet on the way in. May end up doing that if they say this is the new 'norm' for our coach.)
Best,
Smitty
