For those who still have this and understand how it works...
Under dish type. Is it a "Round 18" or something else in the settings??? And is it. "SWM" or "Multiswitch" under switch type....????

Been having some problems lately locking on a strong signal Thanks

we just got a call from our satellite guru Dave at Sats2Go in Houston TX. He said that we may need a software upgrade if we're having problem locking on (which we are). It says "lock verify" but the signal is 35. Sometimes it locks on right away and the signal is 90.

We are going that way and have Dave check ours to see what version software we have and update it if necessary.

He said that the providers are changing things and that TracStar is not up to date to be compatible. He also said that TracStar will no longer provide any software updates for the SV360 after this last one.

You need to contact an RV Satellite Company. Dish or Directv won't help with this because it's a TracStar issue.

I'm old and do not want change. This new technology nothing but change and update every week.
What happen to "KISS" .. Remember when you could actually work on your own car! No smog, No electronics and no Catalytic converter to steal...
What's wrong with a flip phone?

No problem, just trying to make what I have work, see if you were in So Cal, I would not have to Drive 800 miles to have you fix what I break all the time and my DW would not yell at me " leave it alone We will take it in and get it fixed".

Thanks for that info... I called a guy in Florida and he said the same thing about needing to upgrade The software. He put me on a waiting list for a system upgrade tool. Mine is doing the exact same thing As yours. If the tracstar box is on you just need to push the "MAIN KEY" and it will tell you what version Software you have. Since I live in Calif & Nev and no present plans on going to Texas, did he say you Need to come to him to get the upgrade ??? Thanks again for your input

we have used him before. He is very knowledgeable, does a great job for fair prices. We are in OK and can swing by there on our way back east.  You might be able to get the upgrade and do it yourself but we don't have the patience.  You could try Cobham in Orlando who used to support TracStar and see if they can send you a file and instructions to update your software.
