Auto steps

What is the trigger mechanism to open and close the steps on our 96' Intrigue, 40ft? Coach# 10151 The steps open now only occasionally. They always close if they are open.

How are 98 Allure is done.

Micro switch in the door jamb closes circuit sending juice to the motor controller.
Mine is about a 8" from threshold sounds like it might be sticking.
