Don't buy the cheap 10 for $22.00 on Amazon. They start to flicker after only a few days. 50,000 hours, not even close.

I have replaced all interior lights with LED. I used lights made by "Starlight" You can go to their website--www. Starlightsinc.com. If you look in their catalog on page 8 I think you will find what you are looking for.

I used the Revolution G4-160 BP (back Pin) and " G4-160 SP (side pin)

The lights also come in 205 BP & SP Difference is the Lumens or brightness on the bulbs

The address is Starlights
PO Box 80246

Goleta, Ca. 93118

Ph# 1 805 685-8500

I have had the lights for about 5 years without a failure. Although they are not cheep, they are cooler and reliable.

A couple of points on LED lights. They have a Kelvin rating which is the higher the number the whiter the light. 2700K is equivalent to the light in our coaches 5000K and higher is very white. I have found 3500 to be an available and reasonable compromise. 2700K will give you mood lighting, but 3500K will be betting for reading and working. The second point is lumes which is a measure of brightness. Our puck lights are rated at 10 Watts. An LED of 10 Watts will be dimmer than the puck and generally a 20W LED is about the same as the 10W halogen.  Some sites use the terms warm white and cool white. You will also see that more leds on the fixture the brighter the light. I put 5 leds bulbs equivalent to 15W halogen in my living area ceiling and 9 led bulbs over the sink and refrigerator for more lights. I have had good results with Starlight.and also LED.com.

Replacement fixtures: I replaced the total fixture in the bedroom and bath areas with new LED fixtures from Kaper II Inc. KaperII made much of the lighting for Country Coach. I bought L09-0039-NW for $18.00 ea and they come with correct plug however I had an issue with polarity and had to cut and reverse the two wires.. They are 3500K and shown in their green series. I was told that this is a fixture that is produced for new RV manufacturing. I saved the old fixtures for replacement in the rest of the coach.

Buy a couple of samples to try before you go full in. My wife made me replace the vanity lights with a whiter light because she did not like the yellowish light.

Thanks dan, so funny, woman must be all from the same mold because my wife made me change the vanity lights to the brighter White LEDs as well!

Dan, et all,

How did you remove the ceiling lights? Do you just pull on them and they pop out?

Mark, if you are referring to the puck lights, a little counter clockwise turn to remove trim (wear rubber gloves if tight, to get traction), then carefully remove the glass lens, then a little wiggle and pull on the bulb. Pops right out.

Hi Greg,

Yes the ceiling puck lights, but not just the lens and bulb but the entire assembly. I am looking to replace them with the Kaper2 http://www.kaper2.com/adtemplate.asp?invky=389. The reason is one of the retainers for the lens fell out and I have tried various fixes with none of them working. So I was going to replace the entire assembly unless some one else has a method to replace the little retained in the socket base for the lens.

OK, they have 2 spring wire clips holding them in ceiling. Just work it out slowly. I bought the entire light assembly from Kevin Waite (here on the forum).

Got it out, thanks and by some luck of the RV spirit I found the retainer (smaller than you can imagine) underneath the cabinet when I was fishing for a screw I dropped. These retainer have a spring clip on the back of them. I tam trying some super glue to hold the retainer in place otherwise I am going to buy the replacement mentioned earlier.

thanks Greg.

I agree with the process but you
Must carefully inspect the black
Ring to understand the slight

Turn to release the ring and re lock to eliminate the ring from dropping Off. Bob 06 intrigue 12047
