AVIC N-3 Radio Replacement

Yahoo Message Number: 106635
The AVIC N-3 Radio in my coach died and I'm taking the opportunity to upgrade it to a Kenwood 7012BT. I've successfully pulled the AVIC-N3 from the dash and marked all of the wires that go directly to the control head but the Backup Camera (which is my real priority, because currently it doesn't work that is the part of the Pioneer unit that died) operates from a separate remote mounted unit up under the dash behind (between) the instrument cluster and the front of the coach.
Has anyone replaced their AVIC N-3 themselves? If so, how did you get to the remote unit in order to access the back up camera lines in order to connect them to the new unit you were installing? I can't seem to figure out how to remove the part of the dash that is over the top of the driver's instruments in order to access the remote unit for the AVIC - N3. Any help would be appreciated!! The entire dash instrument cluster is held on with Velcro. Slip a plastic Jim under there, the entire instrument cluster will pull away from dash.

Thanks Greg. Actually I solved it. The center panel with the pioneer, silver leaf, switches, and hwh swings out of the dash by removing the four wing its holding it in place. Two reachable by removing the top panel in the passenger side dash, held In place with Velcro and pin clips. The other two are reachable by laying on your back and reaching up past the accelerator pedal. The drivers instrument pedestal is loosened by removing the two screws in the base of the pedestal by the vents just behind the windshield in front of the driver. Once the screws are removed the who,e top of the pedestal can be removed providing easy access to all the video components and the remote pioneer unit. Some head scratching until I found the two screws at the front of the dash. New radio comes tomorrow. Will probably install it this weekend.

Eric is my go to guy, but I hate to bug him unless I really need too...he's always super busy. I eventually figured it out.
