Yahoo Groups Operational Issue

I've been on Yahoo Groups for a bunch of years. I've responded to individuals via their email when discussing things that may not be of Group interest, never had a problem. Not sure what's going on but I can't figure out how to do it. Would someone give me the method for responding directly to a member via their email. Appreciate!!

Hi Joe,

If you get notifications via email you will get the links at the bottom of the page as I have copied below. Just click the "Reply To Sender" link and a private email will be sent to the person that originated the post. I haven't found a way to do this from the CC chat group on the Yahoo website.

How to REPLY TO SENDER from the Country-Coach-Owners website:

While viewing a message, click on REPLY at the bottom of the message.

A text entry box will appear below the message. It has some formatting options at its top. Right above those icons, is the SUBJECT line with a double nested V to the left of SUBJECT. click on it.

That causes other lines (TO, FROM) to appear above the SUBJECT.

At the right end of the TO line, click on the down arrow (V). You will probably see five options drop down:
1. Country-Coach-Owners@yahoogroups.com (for post to web)
2. The Senders Address that you want to use for REPLY TO SENDER
3. 1 & 2 above
4. Country-Coach-Owners-OWNER@yahoogroups.com (that is me, the moderator)
5. 2 & 4 above

Select address(es), compose message, and click SEND

This message was sent to sender and the group using option 2.

You cannot send a message to a group member without a message from them being previously posted in the group (replying to that message).

REPLY TO SENDER is a good choice when all you have to say is THANK YOU, or have a reply that contains no useful content for the rest of the group. Plus, please put the message in context: "It solved the problem." does not tell the rest of the group what "IT" is, nor what the problem was!
