Aqua Hot engine preheat shutoff valve

Yahoo Message Number: 107869
Anybody know if our coaches have a shutoff valve to the Aqua Hot engine preheat system? With the recent post about Aqua Hot, and my past experience with a massive engine coolant leak form the dash heat pump (school bus pump), I am kind of manic about any tie-ins to my engine coolant system. Roger at Aqua Hot said he does not see many preheat pump failures (leaking engine coolant), but that many coaches have a shut off valve for that system near the engine. Anybody know where it is? If we don't have it, I think I may install one near the Aqua Hot to bypass it if need be.

You will actually need to install 2, since it is a loop. You may want to follow your dash heater lines it may be after those shut off valves.

Yes Mikee, thanks, well if we don't have them installed already near the engine (accessible), I will just put them in behind the Aqua Hot, easy access. I really hate engine coolant leaks!
