Overhead light fixtures 2007 Allure

Hi All

I am attempting to remove the covers on the main light fixtures in the main area and the bedroom. They are the large fixtures in the ceiling. Does anyone know how to remove them. Thanks for the information.

On our 2008 allure, the fixtures are maybe 4' long, large white some kind of plastic. They pull straight down, the trim that is. Have snap in metal clips holding them to the ceiling....mike

They are friction fit. Just pull down either front or back

I have an 07 Allure as well and have had the fixtures down a few times for various reasons, I think you'll find they're secured with push/pull latches similar to these below and there is likely 4 or 5 latches per fixture. Give them a good but gentle yank in one corner with your fingers.

I replaced the bulbs in my 09 Allure with LED and the fixtures just snap off. Make sure you hold on to them when pulling it off and put them back in the same position.
