Invalid throttle signal

Have an invalid throttle signal and check engine light. Seems to run ok. Had something similar when my chassis batteries went dead and had to disconnect them and reconnect. Doesn't work that way now. Any ideal?

Try turning the key on, do not start the engine, then push the gas pedal to the floor and release 6 times in a row, fairly quickly. On some systems this will reset the throttle range in the computer..
