08 Magna bin locks

Yahoo Message Number: 109103
I have an 08 Magna that has electric bin locks/unlocks activated by two buttons just inside the door. I assume the button switches power relays that either connect or disconnect power to the bin locks. My bin locks stay energized regardless of the switch actions thus they stayed unlocked. Has anyone had similar problems and been able to fix this? John

I did have similar problems. I had the cord that is routed through the door replaced. The cord didn't look at all split or worn but the new one solved my lock-unlock problems.

On mine the Bin lock is on the intelek panal at the entry door. This button removes power to all the latches unless I am not understanding your situation.

Those buttons are momentary. Meaning when you press one it powers the solenoids to lock or unlock. When you press the other one it moves the other way. They do not stay energized. When you press the button can you hear the solenoids, one in each bay door, make any noise? If not you probably have a blown fuse. If the bay door is open do they work?
