Time for some updates before the winter travel begins: The curtains that cover the front windshield; anyone found a suitable replacement?

Our Dolphin came with an electric rolldown screen that we like way better than the side curtains. When the curtains die we will be looking at the new MCD side rolldowns. They are made to follow the angle of the front of the windows.

I prefer the original curtains, as I think they insulate better and keep it darker than shades. I had the original supplier Millie's Draperies in Junction City (541 689 0066) make new ones. They have new material now that is total blackout, has crisp pleats and stack back is smaller. They have a number of colors to match your interior as well. We are very happy with ours, excellent craftsmanship.

Millie's Draperies in Junction City, OR. Teresa and Brian Potter owners. 541-689-0066. They were the original makers of the front curtains for my 2005 CC. They made a new set for me a few years ago. .

Thank you all for this wonderful information. We too are in the need of our front curtains be replaced. We have enjoyed the good black out they give. I do want to ask her if she can make them so that the part that when pulled closed and resting on the desk can be shorter than the parts for the sides. Has anyone asked if this can be done? Thank you in advance.

Yes Teresa at Millie's can do whatever you want. Call her and describe what you need. I just sent her my old one and asked for exactly the same as I like the fit. Today's materials are much better than the old ones. Some pleat better than others, so best to talk to her about the job.

Mary, she did make mine just a bit shorter than the original. Just tell she what you need and she will make it that way.

I ordered them in July of 2014. They were $475.00. I did have them shipped to me and I installed them myself. I'm not sure they would do the installation as we were passing through Junction City at the time.
