Pics from inside coach show regular headlights, headlights + clear fogs (which are SAE approved for highway and can run all the time), headlights + fogs + drive lights (also SAE approved for highway use).

The really bright drive lights only come when the toggle for them is in the on position and the high beams are turned on. The fogs come on and off independently of the high beams via their own toggle.

Pretty simple install, about a 6 hour project for me. Wired the new LED lights right in to existing wires (positive to positive, neg to neg) that powered the original sealed beam perlux access drive lights and fogs. That way, they come on and off with factory installed switches inside coach.

To mount, purchased longer carriage bolts than came from Rigid for mounting, 3/4", 1", and 1.5" square tube at home depot that already had holes in the tubes (where you find angle iron)....had to enlarge the holes a little in the smaller square tube. There is a triangle shaped mounting plate that the original perlux lights mounted to. Hammered this plate flat, drilled new hole to center rigid lights etc, and used the longer carriage bolts, the square tubing as spacer to drop to correct height, and the rigid U shaped light mounting brackets they sell specific to each light..

Anyway, I try to avoid driving at night, but now feel like I'll actually be able to see if I have to. Pricey lights, but solid output and quality.

I also purchased OEM Ford headlight housings and installed the new housings along with

Can you tell me where you purchased the OEM Ford headlight housings?

I've been contemplating a similar solution to the poor lighting. Have a few more things higher up on the to-do list, but was revisiting the lighting since I spent the last several weekends scraping the 3M coating off the front of the rig.
I can't seem to access the jpgs that are listed....would love to see how and where you mounted everything. I've been pondering mounting the lights up on the faux bumper or reconfiguring the original fog light area to accept the larger lights.
Definitely believe the Rigid Series D or E SAE lights are the way to go
    Thanks

Can others open the pics I posted?

I tried creating an album in the group but it said "error". Any tips on posting appreciated.

I'll take a couple of pics of the mounting and post as well.

I'll also post pics of the labels/part numbers off the OEM headlight housings. There was a noticable improvement in headlight output after the new OEM housings and bulbs, BUT, the rigids make a huge difference.

I also had purchased a relay kit from Daniel Stern Lighting but didn't install it (we have relays already and the little bit of gain in voltage wasn"t worth the time and labor to me, especially with the rigids going in).

The OEM housings are getting harder to find. Got mine new in box off Amazon. Part numbers to follow.

ok, I just tried dragging them in rather than attaching. for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to post photos to the photos section of the site. 13 pics in the last three responses of mine.

If you click "show images" they should all open up. Had to bend the u-shaped mounting frame of the smaller lights with channel locks to get them level...........
