Lazydays RV in Tampa

We are considering upgrading our 1999 Intrigue to a 2004 Intrigue and will be in the Tampa, Florida area shortly. Has anyone had a positive experience with a sales person at Lazydays? If you know of a sales person there who sells Country Coaches that is knowledgable and upfront I would appreciate your feed back.
Also how do you owners of 2004 Intrigues feel about this model year of Intrigues?

We have nothing but good things to say about Lazy Days. Our experiences have all been good and they remember their good customers. Our first salesman for our 2000 Intrigue was Mark Bowlin, knowledgeable sales person but he did not return phone calls promptly so I would not recommend him, Our second coach, a 2001 Magna was purchased from Joe Revard, a saleperson I would go back to for my 3rd coach. He knows CC and he is good at keeping you in the loop during and after delivery. Tell him we recommended you and they give us a gift if you buy.
We like Lazy Days, they always have CCI tecks at the shop to help with special CC problems and Bill Stone (former CCI district sales person) now works for Lazy Days as a service writer. Tim Reid, who was their best CCI factory teck is no longer there. I have been told he was fired because he said something no one liked to a customer. Don't know the details.
If you buy a CC from Lazy Days you decome a member of the Crown Club. A private (classy) club house that has brealfast and lunch, plus a bar that is free as part of your membership. I know there is no such thing as a free lunch but it is a nice perk if you get the price you want. They also come to your site at the Crown club when you are in for service, you do not stand in a service line, and they include a free wash with any work at the Crown Club.
We like the place enough to buy a motorhome house with a 2000sf garage 50 miles away so we can come to LD for srevice, service we could not get in the Carolinas. Any other questions, let me know.

We recently purchased a 2000 Magna from Lazy Days and had a very good relationship with Tony Mills. While we were going throught the PDI and follow up details Tony continued to personally check on us while he was going back and forth from the hospital with the birth of his first child. A super guy.

lazyday people helped quite a bit when deciding between an Ovation, Chalet, and Newport. They took pictures in side and out and a lot of compartment measurements for us. TOM/CAROL 11731

I can also highly recommend Joe Rivard. Joe sold us our Inspire in July 2003. Helpful, knowledgeable and hasn't stopped following up on our satisfaction with the transaction.

We spend a couple days each January at the Ralley Park at Lazy Days just to look around and kick tires and see the new models. They seem to have a good operation, but there are a few things that bother me.
The Coaches are all open and you help yourself looking around which is good, no pressure from the sales folks, but the Coaches seem to take a beating from the public. The keys are usually laying on the dash or in the ignition, doors wide open even during rain, monitors on, fresh water pumps running with no water, I could go on and on.
One Intrique was setting there running most of the morning and when I questioned a sales person, he just turned it off and said it happens all the time. In one of the Magna's there was a couple with kids going through it and the kids were having a field day with all the buttons, etc. They had a travel trailer and were just looking around.
You will also have about 4,000 miles on the clock when it gets to Tampa and I can assure you it was a hard 4,000 miles on a new engine/transmission.

Not bashing Lazy Days, but the least they could do is not leave the keys out for people to have fun with... By the way, any Prevost is locked and a sales person needed to take a look.

We purchased a used 2000 Allure from Lazy Days in 2002 and the experience was good. Do your homework and be prepared to negotiate.
Near wholesale prices can be attained. I understand negotiating prices on a trade-in is tough. Set a price goal and be prepared to walk away if not met. In a few days they will be calling you. While the perks are nice, I have not used them and did not let them be influence the sale. Brant Graves was our salesman.

When Geri and I were at Lazydays last year, we took refuge from the world's worst rain storm in a new CC on their lot. Unfortunately, the rain was pouring through one of the FF roof vents and we couldn't close it, so the rain poured in, soaking the floor, cabinets, etc. I felt bad about what was happening, but wasn't about to leave the safety of the coach (lightning outside) to go outside looking for a sales person who could take care of the problem.

I'm glad we bought ours used, especially since the first owner picked it up at the factory to ensure that it was treated right from mile one.

We have never purchased a coach from the Lazy Days lot. Both our CCs were ordered from Lazy Days at one of the FMCA conventions. One we picked up one at the factory and one we picked up at LDs. The one we picked up at LDs did not cost us a penny for delivery because it was ordered at a show and in each case we traded a coach. i don't like buying off the lot.
