Time to air up to ride height

Yahoo Message Number: 114745
See my post earlier regarding Generator Tray drive system....... This may be the proximate cause.

It seems like it is taking longer and longer for the coach to rise up to drive height. When we put the coach into gear, does anyone know how long it should take for the coach to raise up to drive height. I get that if the coach is really low to level, it will take longer than if its sitting on a level surface, but overall how long should it take at the outside? When you put the coach into gear the HWH says "travel" within seconds, but observing the coach, even though the HWH says "travel" the steer wheels or the drive wheels can be deep in the wheel wells and obviously too low. Lately I've been taking to over-riding the HWH and hitting "raise" to force the coach to air up and then selecting travel and letting it air down to travel height. Seems like I'm doing this a lot lately. Would this be an HWH issue? We live about 60 miles from HWH headquarters.....

Seems like a call to HWH would give you the answers you need. I usually am good to go in short order.

Depending on how low the coach is, in general, I think mine gets to "travel" in less than 10 sec. The green "travel" light comes on pretty quickly, but I think it is still raising. I have a small air leak, so typically get the low brake air alarms screeching, and wait until I have about 100 psi before I push the travel button. So I put it in travel that way, not counting on the release of park brake to do it. Sounds like you have an air leak or ride height valve issue. Can you hear air escaping when outside by the wheels?
