I lived in Santa Fe, NM for 8 years.
When I'm there, I usually stay at the Roadrunner in Pojaque, about 15
minutes N out of town. Seems like it was $30 per night
There are 2 right on Cerrillos Rd, both run like $50+ per night. The one
on the N side of the road will want to know what year your coach is, and
if you have a trailer, you can forget that one. The one on the S. side
of the road is the one I usually stay at (if I stay in town) they have
some long drive thru slots in the middle. They have bath house/laundry,
and both are in walking distance of many restaurants and shopping.
I've also boondocked at BLM land at Santa Cruz lake, about 25 minutes
out of Santa Fe. They have regular campsites, and toilets. Supposedly
they recommend a max of 25' length, but I was fine in there with my 36'.
It's beautiful there (high desert), right above the lake (down a cliff),
and would likely be vacant. Like $5 per day.
There is also some national park first come sites up the mountain
towards the ski basin, pine forest there. The do have water and toilets
(no power). There are like 10 sites in a row, pretty but zero cell service.
