House Water Filter

I'm posting for someone with a 2007 Inspire that just got it about 2 weeks ago. I have an 06 Inspire and his is not in the same place as mine. His book say it is, can anyone with an 07 Inspire shed some light on this matter.

We have a 2008 Inspire. Our manual says the house water filter is under the kitchen sink; however, that is not the case. Our whole house water filter is located in a bay on the passenger side under the bathroom area. The bay does not have a latch and must be opened by unscrewing the screws under the door. Can't understand why CC didn't put a latch on this door to make this more accessible. Hope that answers your question.
