I have a 2004 Country Coach Inspire. Not sure what has happened but I've started having problems with my crank battery going dead. Its a new battery so I know that's not the problem. Seems I have a draw somewhere in the coach that is killing the battery. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might have a draw but also might not be charging anymore. Have you checked your echo charger to see if it's charging your batteries? Could be a blown fuse in the charger or bad charger.

I have an 07 inspire and have problems keeping chassis batteries charged. I replaced the echo charger and that seem to work for a short while and then they were going dead. My solution is to use a battery tender for the chassis batteries when I am parked. While driving the alternator charges them.

your echo charger may have a blown fuse or it is bad. No way a tender puts out more amps than the echo charger working properly.

I've had several responses saying the echo charger is suspect. I wasn't aware the crank battery had a charger aside from the alternator. Where is the echo charger located?

small black box usually located close to crank batteries. Has a fuse in and a fuse out that could be bad

What is you coach number, I had a similar issue with a 2004 Inspire that I have sold to a RV dealer.

Some of the early 2004 Inspires, didn't have an Echo charger, I have #51012 that did not have one I installed the Echo charger myself, purchased fro CC.

Throw it away and buy a Magnum SBC on Amazon, about $90. Easy swap, much bigger charger.

I had a similar problem on my '05 Allure. Using a volt/ohm meter I found that 1)The alternator was not charging the battery while moving 2) That there are 2 fuses on the Echo charger and one of them was missing. New fuse and now the batteries are charging while stationary and moving. It does still blow a fuse occasionally (30 amp) but when we get back home I will figure out why, but for now, we will let it be.

The fuse or fuses for the echo charger are supposed to be a 20 amp slow blow fuse. They are hard to find. I've found them at electrical supply warehouses and nowhere else. They will last longer than a regular fuse.

Thanks to you and a number of others who responded. 1. I located the echo charger that I didn't know existed. 2. There was an issue with the fuses. 3. The problem is solved.
