New CC Owners Message Board

Yahoo Message Number: 8795
For those who were not at the meeting held at Beaudry yesterday, forum members talked about creating a new CC Owners message board, possibly as part of a CC Owners web site.
The proposed new format would allow us to set up categories and group questions and answers better, to allow for easier retrieval of information.

The new format is set up temporarily at:
www.usaharris.com/ccowners/ccforum Everyone is encouraged to check it out, register, and post some test messages. There is a category for comments and suggestions on the new format, and with feedback from as many as possible, we can decide if we want to do this, and if so, how it should be set up.

Hi Bill; I went to the test site and registered. And then tried to login and got Username &/or password incorrect. Thinking they were case sensitive and not remembereing the exact case I used, I retried several ways with not luck.... I'd got the auto message that I am registered. What do the abbrevations AIM:, ICQ:, MSN: and Yahoo IM: stand for?? Think MSN is Microsoft. but do not have a clue on ICQ and AIM???? Thanks

Hi Bill,

Great job. I just logged on and I think I had the priveledge of making the first post. This is a great format, and I feel like everyone will enjoy this board more once they get used to it.

Bill - Dumb question for you. I went to the new test web site but I have no idea of what I used as a username and password previously. Should I just start all over?
Sorry I am not as versed on the computer usage as you are. I never did know how to make all those cute little graphics!
Hope you are all enjoying the warm weather in Tucson. Maybe someone can give an update on what happened at the rally so those of us who "missed it" can get the news!

Hi Bill,

It appears you may have some bugs on reloging in.
Invalid id message. Must I reregister as stated? I did post a message.

Not sure if the registration was completed properly as I recd an automatic email to correct registrating without details of what was missing. Did not do profile as directed.

yes, this is a completely separate board. You can use any name and password, as lond as someone else is not using it. I would hope that all would sign on in their own names. For example, I am signed on as: Bill Harris
Hope this helps

Several messages on this subject contained various typographical errors in the website URL.

The correct website URL is www.usaharris.com/ccowners/ccforum

This should help the folks who've had a problem logging on.

This is driving me nuts (or to drink)!

When I click on the link below
www.usaharris.com/ccowners/ccforum

I start to connect and then get refered to this link
http://www.usaharris.com/ccowners/ccforum/login.asp?target=default.asp
The page then loaded says the " Object Moved" "This object may be found here."

The "here" is an underlined link. I click on "here" and nothing happens.
When I

view the source for the page I see the link for "here" is null ("").

If I hand edit the address line to
http://www.usaharris.com/ccowners/ccforum/login.asp?
I get theCCForum login page. If I try to book mark that page, this link is saved.

I'm using Mr. Gates IE Version 6.0.2800.1106 (with a ton of patches)

Any one else have this problem? (Where did I hide that bottle!!!)
