Logging on to new Message Board

I read that some people are having problems logging on for the first time. Try the following steps and it should go off without a hitch.

1. Go to http://www.usaharris.com/ccowners/ddforum/
2. Click on Register at the top menu bar
3. Read the agreement, and if you agree to abide by the terms then click on the agree box at the bottom of the page.

4. Fill in the registration information. Note, only the boxes with the red asteriks beside them are required.

5. Once you have registered, you will receive an email. Open it and
read it and click on the link which will complete the registration. You are now a member and can begin posting to the new board.

It really is a superior format to this board. I know we all get used to certain ways of doing things and sometimes don't see the need for change, but give it a try. If it is going to suceed, everyone will have to be onboard.

I think that once you post a couple of times you will see that it is much easier. And also with this new format, all responses to topics are grouped together. For instance, if someone posts about MSRP. All replies fall directly under that topic. You don't have to scroll through the entire "messages" to find all of the responses to the topic.

This is a good example of where the new board shines. I obviously made a typo on the link in my previous post. If I had made this mistake on the new message board all I would have had to do was to click on the edit icon above my message and it would have allowed me to correct my mistake and be done.
