ATC light flashing

We recently purchased our first motor home, a beautiful and well maintained 06 Intrigue 530 Jubilee with the C-13 Cat. Some of you may know the prior owners and CCI members, Dennis & Deena Holmes. We had a complete inspection done prior to purchase, but we also understand that maintenance issues on a vehicle with complex systems can crop up anytime. Our first challenge is a flashing ATC light that lit up a couple of days ago. Once it started, it now flashes whenever the engine is running, whether moving or parked. When we were moving, there was no indication that the ATC system had been activated to apply any brakes. I have not seen and am not aware of anyway to deactivate this system like I can in my auto.

Has anyone had this problem before? If so, any recommendations or possible easy fixes? Is there danger or chance of damage if the vehicle is operated until we can get it to a repair facility? Any suggestions or references to a similar situation would be much appreciated.

Dave, this often happens when you drive over rough terrain. With the engine running go into the front road side bay under your seat and flip the ATC switch a couple of times. When you finish your drive and shut the coach down, it's likely the ATC will stay off the next time you start up. Often, just ignore it and it stops on its own.

The ATC relies on the ABS sensors. Usually you'll have ABS light with the ATC light. Just ATC light, I guess it could be the ATC unit. If you have a Silver Leaf, it might be giving you some more specific codes, that is where I would start. You should also be able to pull a blink code from your abs switch down under the driver seat.
