Generator and key pad

Good afternoon gentleman,

Just purchased a one owner 2009 Magna 630 Rembrandt. Absolutely in love with the coach. After purchase I brought it home to load it, clean it and just get my head around all of the systems. Everything worked amazing. Part of my purchase included a full service so after a few days with it at home I dropped it off for a full engine service, gen service etc.

I picked the coach up, brought it up and attempted to fire the generator. It cranked for 2 cycles and then threw a fault on the silver leaf screen 689. I attempted to fire the generator from the main switch on the Gen but I have no signs of life to that switch either. Comms to silverleaf seem to be fine but I am still facing a red genset icon and no ability to get it running. The coach is full of fuel.

Again, this thing was perfect before service. I was given everything short of a silverleaf manual so I am flying a little blind and any help would be appreciated.

Also would love some insight on how to reset and get the door keypad to work as that is non-op also.

Silverleaf has great customer support (at least before the Winegard purchase).  I would give them a call.

I am not sure of the model of silverleaf you have - may be Total Coach Command.  There are some manuals on their website as well.

Regarding keypad, I suspect if it is wireless it may need reconnecting.  Trimark is the brand in my 2007 Allure.  Again Trimark has good manuals on their website.  Enter your coach information into the following link.

Thank you for the responses those manuals are killer. Was able to track down the main coach panels and brakers inside the access panel of the main storage tray. Both Generator start breakers were tripped. Got the Generator to spin over but uncovered a whole separate issue as I couldn't get the Gen to prime. Two fuel lines and back in business. Will tackle the the Trimark stuff here shortly!!!

Congrats on the new coach!!! On the generator, try to pull the fault code off of the unit itself, and look it up via Google. And I'd double check that oil is in the unit, before trying to fire it up again. (I've known of at least four times in the last 10 years, where someone had a service for cars - where the tech's got distracted and never put oil back in!!! Usually caught before they owner's left the shop:)!). Best of luck - and enjoy the new ride:)! Smitty
