Roof Problem??

I read the post about the '98 CC having a new laminated roof being a change for that year. Got me to thinking about my roof. It feels like the top layer of fiberglass is NOT bonded to anything. I ask the sales person about it and was told they all are like that. This person was introduced as a CC guru, had worked many levels at CC and knew his stuff. I told him durning the factory tour the roof they showed us was bonded, not loose, he said that was a change in 2000. I usually don't listen much to the sale people as they usually know less than the buyer but this guy seemed to know his stuff. Tell I didn't get hosed yet again.
