M & G Braking system

Mike,

Just had one installed on our coach and toad. Easy to hook up and would highly suggest that you have the breakaway system also. As for the lanyard, the folks at Oregon light truck and RV in Central Point, Oregon, who installed our system, recommend using a couple of pieces of electrical tape on the tow bar to keep the lanyard in place.
Works great. Noticed a big diference in breaking going over the Siskiyous. Highly recommend Oregon Light Truck and RV. Great service and nice people. Good luck.

Everyone,

Thank you for your input. It was very much appreciated. I installed the motorhome side of it on Friday evening and the toad part on Saturday. The toad side is quite a bit more work, but with patience it turned out nice. Probably the biggest portion of time was because I had to bend up a new brake line for the front part of the master cylinder. Which meant I had to do a fair amount of brake bleeding. Anyway, the mainden voyage will be next Friday when we head up to Washington state for a little R&R.

Thanks again.
