Chirping LP gas detector ME TOO

My 98 Intrigue started doing the ame thing. I do not have any leaks. My symptoms start after driving a short distance. It chirps then chuts the LP off. If you reset it it runs for a while than chirps/shuts down. If parked with nothing running it seems to be OK but if you start the genset it shuts down. When you shut the genset off it shuts down. I assume its faulty but if someone can help, PLEASE tell me what to do.
Thanks,

Mike and Marg Keogh

Mike and Mary,I called CC and talked to Gentry. He checked into it and said he thinks it's low power getting to the unit. It dawned on me that the chirping only happens when disconnected from shore power. I couldn't find any loose connections, so I called the 800 number on the back of the unit. I don't know where the mfg. is located but I suspect Mexico as I had a hard time understanding the man on the other end. He was no help---just suggested I look for loose connections at the valve on the lp tank---none found. He claimed he had never encountered this problem.
To make a long story short I'll just put up with it until I get to someone who can trace the wiring for me ( I'm no electrtician ).

Thanks, Fred. It'll probably be awhile before we get to Califormnia again, but I'll sure keep you in mind.
