John Keene alarm question

John,

I have more info from Trimark and will email the manual to you directly. The control button for resetting the system on my 2005 Affinity is in the outside driver side bay #1. It is a red button on the end of about two feet of wire which is attached to the Trimark board. As for a switch to turn off the alarm feature, both CC and Trimark informed me that on the 2005 Affinity they have chosen not to install that option. In other words, the only alarm is the front door and bay doors--no motion alarm.

As for the chirp signal, CC chose to wire directly from the Trimark board to the external alarm. I had them change mine to flash the side docking lights which is a bit nicer when returning to your coach late at night or getting up before your neighbors! They said it was a 5 minute job. The manual I am sending will show which Trimark control point needs changed.

Since you did not change the master control number for your coach you do realize that everyone that knows that number can just as easy change your personal access code and enter your coach?

Alan, would you please email the info to me as well? We were told (at CC) while in service that if we turned off the chirps, that the entire alarm would be silent. Thanks for the help, Candace Hollick

Yes, I know that. We are sitting at Fort Wilderness now, and have only been here and home. Mickey does not allow any MH breakins, so I figured I was OK for a awhile (heh, heh). Plan on playing with this when we get home tommorrow.

Thanks for the manual. I got a much shorter version with my coach, not this much info.

This is a great forum. I searched back about two years when we were considering the Ingrique and found my first post when I asked about CC, etc. Good info then too.

Back to cold N IL soon ... brrrrrrr. Affinity stays here, this unit will never see salted roads.
