Bill Plemmons RV people teach RV maintenance classes for local college 4 nights each week. When they open new 40 acre facility, Plemmons RV can be expected to have skilled technicians available.
Wednesday we called Plemmons from MD with dead alternator, asked for repair Monday.
CC overnited alternator to me Saturday. Changing the pulley was only hard part of alternator replacement. Advance Auto parts let me use large bench vise for pulley change.
Monday we had new alternator already installed and wanted Plemmons to do other repairs. Plemmons fixed all we asked for, without scheduled appointment. Happy with the work they did. Chris fixed bay door that had resisted 2 repair attempts in JC. After 7000 miles, our entry door now closes properly and no longer rattles. Thanks again to Chris. We are very happy to have a new front heatpump, especially as it must pass thermostat inputs to rear heatpump & both furnaces. Yes, one front AC failure can stop both furnaces & both roof units.
We left Plemmons with both furnaces & both Heat pumps working.
If we had it to do over again, we would take factory delivery, then drive directly to Plemmons for repairs.
After Christmas in AR with family, we will return to plemmons for paint work.

Wrong...do it the other way 'round! We took delivery at Plemmons and had ZERO defects on our walkthrough. The service fellow told us up front that his goal was to give us a perfect coach...he did! The items that came up afterwards were ones that would not have been discovered initially no matter when or where we took delivery. From what I see at the factory, people start out with a big "to do list" from the first moment...eliminate that with a delivery by Plemmons...not only that, but they were very fair with the price.
