Fuel line break

Caution to all 325 hp Cummins Engine owners! We have a 1997 Intrigue, 325 Cummins with just over 63,000 miles. The fuel line for about the last foot before it goes into the high pressure side (I am not a mechanic, so hope you can understand) runs parallel to the top of the engine and is clamped to the engine with a metal clamp. This clamp wore completely through the fuel line and while driving, I was spraying about a gallon a minute onto the engine.
Fortunately, no major problems occured but it sure messed up a clean engine.

Jerry: I have the same engine and had the same thing happen at about the same mileage. Heads up for other owners. Fortunately mine burst just as I pulled into my storage facility. Like you said, it was mess.

I had a 330 Cummins in my previous SOB coach. The high pressure fuel line ruptured 3 times before they got it fixed. Or, I should say, 3 times before I finally got my CC. Had just over 30,000 miles on it.
