Toilet bowl water does not always shut off

On three occasions I have found the toilet bowl continuing to fill after the pedal appears to return to the normal position. Just have to watch each time and cycle the pedal again to stop the water.
Another potential for a coach flood. Make sure the water stops each time you flush. Don't just press and release and quickly walk away.

Have not examined the valve yet. Any other experience with this problem?

And just as a reminder about one of my previous posts in October -- make sure your Splendide washer drain hose does NOT extend all the way down to the TRAP at the bottom of the drain riser. This had flooded several coaches if the gray water drain valve is closed.
Washer tries to fill, but it can't because the drain hose is syphoning the water out of the washer -- takes the right phase of the moon, proper alignment of the stars, and a few other factors -- but it may eventually happen to an installation that has worked for years.

I had the same problem with my Sealand Traveler 510+ in our Intrigue.
The valve is

easy to take apart and you can flip the valve seat over for a new sealing surface. The seat

is not available as piece part (as best as I can tell), you have to order the complete valve kit.

Environmental Marine in Fort Lauderdale, 800-522-2656 can supply anything you need (if
you have a Sealand).
