Spybot may be obtained from the author via http://www.spybot.info/en/home/index.html Any other source of Spybot may be a source of altered programs intended to infest your computer. Spybot counterfeits not only cause problems, but are also sold without any money to Patrick Kolla, the author of Spybot - Search & Destroy.
All my computers are configured to run Spybot at boot, update Spybot & fix all problems automatically. Windows & anti-virus updates are also automated to happen daily, so as to keep computers secure from newest threats.
AdAware may be better than it was 2 years ago.
This is off topic. Another person on list could explain this better than me. I would like to save some people from many hours of software repairs.
